HOMAGE TO
WOMEN
Casapueblo
is not only my homage to the Sun
but also to Women.
It
is dedicated to her universal scope.
To the simple working woman as well as to the
teacher; to the laundry woman that
washes stooped over the edge of the stream and to
the one that holds her child in a knaprack while she’s
also carrying a nest of fruits on her head.
To
the woman that bravely faces difficulties as well as to the sophisticated one that decorates an ostentatious large
living-room.
Women
have always represented
major battle and commitment.
I
can undoubtedly and steadily assert
that creation is not possible without a woman.
She
represents the most important support
where our projects and accomplishments should be
reckoned.
For
a woman’s sake we are able to build a house, to
undertake an adventure, to paint, to compose music, to
become a writer or to make a revolution.
She
is the inspiring muse of our motivations, the spice of our
lives.
